This is my most recent project I've made and probably my favorite. While it isn't very complex the sound and flow turned out how I wanted. The songs short but the taking out and putting in of the different beats keeps it entertaining to listen to.
This is one of my more recent projects and for this song we were challenged to make a beat revolving around the singing portions of the song Rushing Back. I'm happy with how this turned out but if I spent a little more time on it I feel like I could make it a lot better.
This is one of my first songs and for this we were challenged to make our own beat using the beat maker on sound trap and then make a song that revolves around that beat. Since this was one of my first songs it isn't very complex but the sound and beat turned out how I wanted.
When making this song I started off by putting the beat you can see at the bottom and stretching it throughout the whole song. I built the mood and energy off of this beat by using trial and error until I found something that worked well together. After I found a couple of instruments that worked well together I put them all in the same key and moved them around, taking some out and putting some in until the instruments flowed well together. What I enjoyed most about this project was the freedom we had in making the song and the amount of choices we had in the instruments and beats.
The first step in creating this video was making the song. My song was pretty simple with only four different sounds that I'd take out and put back in at different points. Once I was finished the song I started up on the video. The song had a sort of spring/summer time vibe so I decided to use flowers and nature for the theme of the video. During the video I'd put a different flower clips in every time I added or took away an instrument during the song which added great transitions. I'm pretty happy with how this project turned out.
